Combining a love for outdoor experiences with the conservation of wild places, and the animals that inhabit them
A recent graduate of UBC’s Natural Resource Conservation program in the Faculty of Forestry, Josh’s view of the world has been shaped by the West coast of British Colombia. He has worked in the mountains surrounding Revelstoke and the old-growth forests of Haida Gwaii, and relishes every opportunity to be outside and to work towards the protection of the wild places he loves. He has also worked internationally in Nicaragua, where he was working for an NGO on primate and sea turtle conservation projects. Josh has most recently returned from a summer working in remote areas on the West coast of BC, assisting with seabird research on their breeding colonies.
Outside of work, Josh is a passionate surfer, skier, climber and photographer and loves to share adventure stories.
